Happy new year everyone.I welcomed the new year with this lovely abstract 'you came along with me' .My 2015 journey was eventful many of you were with me looking forward to reach 2016.

In this abstract painting the sunset landscape forms the backdrop of the journey towards 2016.

Water Color Painting of Nesting Storks

This is a painting which I started some time back in fact I had posted it in my blog too.http://nandadeviy.blogspot.in/2013/04/birds-in-watercolor-work-in-progress.html.Long time ago !
The storks are painted in watercolors and I used ink drawings for the tree and rest of the picture. I am really satisfied with the end result hope you too enjoy this painting .Do let me know your feedback.

This painting was just a small practise with my aunt who wanted to learn acrylic painting.

Ellora caves,India

  Last week I went to explore the Cave sculptures and paintings  in Ajantha and Ellora caves in Aurangabad.Here are some photographs taken of Ellora caves. It was an wow factor experience indeed. Ellora was beautiful you could go on looking at each pillar and post and not complete the experience even in a month.What I could see was for few hours that is all.I took these photographs but after a while you forget to click since you need to absorb the beauty into your memory.Its a tiring journey to the interiors of Aurangabad and lots of walking and climbing.So if you ever do it take your time and enjoy.
