I am professionally a plant tissue culturist.My first love was botany and while learning about plants I was introduced to drawing.Now plants and flowers are part of my life.Forgetting the academics I try to enjoy beauty of nature through paintings.When I travel nature and places appear before me like a kaleidoscope.Its too vast for my eyes to behold and I want to capture them in my mind .There are so many colours and shapes and I try to present a few here through my paintings .

Cattelya orchids in flower in a painted decorative pot. Orchid flowers are my favourite for painting as there is such a varied list of plants to choose them. The second painting here is the vandas.
