I am professionally a plant tissue culturist.My first love was botany and while learning about plants I was introduced to drawing.Now plants and flowers are part of my life.Forgetting the academics I try to enjoy beauty of nature through paintings.When I travel nature and places appear before me like a kaleidoscope.Its too vast for my eyes to behold and I want to capture them in my mind .There are so many colours and shapes and I try to present a few here through my paintings .

Mural in acrylic

Hi there I made an attempt to do a mural.Just experimenting how to do a mural.My friend did this picture from the internet.
With few tips I had from artists friends I made a small piece of the same picture.I was pleased with the effort .In fact it was a very enjoyable experience showing each step to my friend and developing the shading.I am really inspired to do more.If you liked my painting do let me know.Thank you visiting my blog.

Buddha painting in acrylic

I decided to take up a 30 day challenge to paint everyday and not to procrastinate anymore about painting.So here I am second day of my challenge.
This is a painting of Buddha in acrylic.It's done on top of plywood.It's not an original ,I was inspired by a mural on wood .Hope to hear from all of you.Do let me know so that I am motivated to complete my challenge.
