Rainbow's from my Heart my painting journey

I am professionally a plant tissue culturist.My first love was botany and while learning about plants I was introduced to drawing.Now plants and flowers are part of my life.Forgetting the academics I try to enjoy beauty of nature through paintings.When I travel nature and places appear before me like a kaleidoscope.Its too vast for my eyes to behold and I want to capture them in my mind .There are so many colours and shapes and I try to present a few here through my paintings .

Mountains inspired by Ladakh Landscape

The mighty mountains and landscape of Ladakh is here in my new painting in Acrylic.Shades of red on the mountains speaks out for the energy and magnificence of the region.The streams and the rivers though beautiful are overpowered by these mountains.There is no reference photos . This is just what came to mind when I think of Ladakh. Enjoy and let me know your valuable comments.
